Common questions
Common Questions
Everything you need to know about the technical audit process.
Is the 15-minute call really free?
Yes. The pre-assessment call is completely free with no obligation. We use it to understand your codebase, discuss your concerns, and determine if a full audit makes sense for your situation. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
What tech stacks do you support?
We specialize in modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems: React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, and related technologies. We also work with Python backends and various databases. We don't audit WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar platforms—our expertise is in custom-built applications.
What do I need to prepare for the audit?
For the initial call, just be ready to describe your application and current pain points. If you proceed with the full audit, we'll need read access to your codebase (GitHub, GitLab, or similar) and any relevant documentation about your architecture.
How long does the full audit take?
Typically 5-7 business days from when we receive codebase access. Complex applications with multiple services may take longer. You'll receive a detailed written report plus a 1-hour strategy call to walk through findings.
What if I just need a quick look, not a full audit?
The pre-assessment call often reveals quick wins we can point out immediately. But for a thorough analysis with actionable recommendations, the full audit is necessary. There's no 'lite' version—we either do it right or not at all.
Can you fix the issues you find?
Yes. Many clients proceed from audit to implementation. The audit fee is credited toward any development work, so you're not paying twice. We can handle fixes ourselves or provide detailed specs for your team to implement.
